Below is the list of our current major appeals:

DESKS AND TEXTBOOKS FOR BWENI SECONDARY SCHOOL

At the new secondary school at Bweni, we need to supply text books and desks for each student.

• £80 pays for a complete selection of textbooks for each student.
• £25 pays for one desk; we need 300 desks.
• £8 pays for one textbook
• £25 pays for one desk (300 desks needed)

LIBRARY BOOKS AND RUNNING COSTS

We need money for secondary school textbooks and we also need money to pay for the running costs of the library, which includes the salaries of the librarian and his two assistants.

• £8 pays for one book
• £84 pays for a year's newspaper subscription
• £2,000 annual budget to run the library

HEALTH CARE

We will need donations for a successfull launch of phase 1 of the new hospital; which will include the following services:

• Pediatrics - 20 beds
• Gynecology/Obstetrics/Women’s Health - 40 beds
• Internal Medicine - 20 beds
• Surgery (general and subspecialties) - 10 beds (two operating room fully equipped)
• Emergency Medicine
• Intensive Care - 10 beds
• Outpatient Care
• Laboratory services - hematology, biochemistry, serology and microbiology
• Radiology (Ultrasounds - Sterilizations) (MRI, 16 slice CT scanner)
