Donations - How can you help

Where Will Your Money Go?
We keep our costs to a minimum, and we assure you that the money you donate will be spent on our projects in Tanzania. Your regular support allows our beneficiaries and us to plan for the future. It means we can make a firm commitment to the children and young people who need it most. By pledging a regular donation to MIDEF, you can make long-term projects possible. This is what your contribution could achieve over the course of a year:
- £4 a month would provide a bicycle for a Village Savings and Loans trainer, essential transport for our staff in the remote regions of Tanzania;
- £9 a month would provide 200 textbooks for students desperate to learn;
- £12 a month would pay for a variety of much needed sports items (including handball, football, volleyball, javelin, discus and shot);
- £27 a month would supply all the guttering and out-take taps that a school needs to harness the rainfall and fill up it’s water tank.
There are so many rewarding ways you can get involved with MIDEF to help create a brighter future for thousands of young people in Africa. A regular direct debit means a reliable income for our projects. A small contribution each month can go a very long way!
Alternatively, a single cash donation would help our work enormously. You don't have to give a fortune to help make a real difference. In fact, 95% of our income is raised by individuals.

If you want to support a particular project, please ensure you write the project name clearly on the Donation Form. If the project is over-subscribed, we will use your donation where it is most needed unless you indicate otherwise.
